My grandmother had wanted to get me a nice purse for a while - I tend to cheap out on bags, only buying used or clearance items. I had had my eye on this purse on Etsy for a while - I love the contrast of the leather and the canvas, the little tassels and interior pockets. My favorite part is that the strap is removable - it can be both a messenger or over the shoulder bag, as well as a simple handbag.
